Description
Description
A high-gain sound that produces the perfect tone for metallic strumming, fast picking, and tight bridge muting.
It also allows you to blend in the dry signal, providing effective distortion for bassists. This is the birth of a truly New Era distortion that can deliver an aggressive sound in any setting.
■BLEND
BLEND knob adjusts the balance between clean (dry) and distorted signals.
At minimum, you get a clean signal with no distortion, and as you turn it clockwise, the distortion increases until at maximum you get only a distorted signal with no clean distortion.
The clean and distortion channels are parallel inside Eras, allowing you to create a solid sound by adjusting the clean channel.
You can also create unique mixed sounds by connecting a booster, overdrive, or distortion pedal before Eras.
The BLEND knob is also very effective for bassists.
■MODE
Mode switch allows you to select from five combinations of gain and clipping.
1: Tight mode with slight mid-cut (LED hard clipping). Most responsive, ideal for bridge muting.
2: Tight mode with slight mid-cut (silicon hard clipping) for a smooth, compressed sound
3: Dual clipping mode with slight mid-cut (silicon and LED hard clipping) for a rich and full distortion sound with plenty of sustain.
4: Rhythm mode with more mid-cut (LED hard clipping) for a tight, responsive, and punchy sound.
5: Rhythm mode with more mid-cut (silicon hard clipping) for a warm, open sound
Power supply: 9VDC center negative (for adapter only)
SIZE: 12.5 x 6.7 x 5.8 cm
If you adjust the knobs up or down without touching the strings and muting the strings, you will hear a "rattle" or "crackle" noise, which is caused by an ungrounded string.
*When using some coated strings, there are cases where the string ground does not drop 100% all the time. In this case, if the noise disappears when you touch the plug of the cable inserted into the output side, it can be concluded that the coated strings are also a factor.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but please be aware that this is a common specification among many effects pedals and pedal preamps that use aluminum knobs.
