The SNAPPER 7-string model, which is one of ESP's standards, is now in stock and available for immediate delivery!
Until now, SNAPPER 7-string models have only existed as signature models, but we received many requests to add them to the regular line. After analyzing and developing the data we've accumulated, we've finally added a 7-string model to the regular line. The concept of the SNAPPER-7 is a 7-string guitar that feels like a 6-string, without the feeling of a 7-string.
The body is crafted from high-quality alder, the neck from tightly grained hard maple, and the fingerboard from Honduras rosewood. The joint is bolt-on, with a smooth heel finish achieved with the T-5 Ultimate Access. The scale length is 648mm, the same as the 6-string model, and the CT system and locking GOTOH MG-T tuning machines work together to provide just the right amount of tension. The pickups are Seymour Duncan, with an SH-14-7 in the bridge position and SSL-5-7 in the middle and neck positions. While different pickup types from those used on the 6-string model, they offer a wide range of tones, from delicate clean sounds to hard-hitting distortion. The bridge is an ESP original Flicker III-7, and the springs are five Type 2 tremolo tone springs. The controls are the same as those on the 6-string model: master volume, master tone, 5-way pickup selector, and mix variation switch.
