The Nektar MIDIFLEX 4 USB MIDI interface brings flexible connectivity to any MIDI setup you have on macOS, Windows, or iOS. The four MIDI ports can be used as a 1-in/3-out, 2-in/2-out, or 4-out interface - if you need more ports, simply connect another MIDIFLEX 4 to expand your MIDI power!

●The right port, instantly.
No driver required:
MIDIFLEX 4 is USB class compliant, so setup is extremely easy - simply connect MIDIFLEX 4 to your computer and the ports will become available in your DAW software's MIDI settings.

・Auto-detect port:
MIDIFLEX 4 automatically detects MIDI input and output connections and displays the status with LED indicators for the MIDI ports. Simply connect your external MIDI devices and let MIDIFLEX do the rest.
Four LEDs indicate whether the port is configured as an input or an output.

- Expand ports with multiple MIDIFLEX 4s:
Need more ports with just one unit? Just connect another MIDIFLEX 4! For example, with three MIDIFLEX 4s you can create a system with four MIDI ins and eight MIDI outs. And if that's still not enough, you can always add another unit.

MIDI merge and split functions
One advantage of the MIDIFLEX 4 over other USB MIDI interfaces is that it can function as a MIDI merge box or split box in standalone mode. Power it externally using a commercially available USB power adapter (sold separately), and select either mode by pressing the dedicated button on the front of the unit.

It can be used as a 2-1 merge box or a 1-3 split box.

Includes Bitwig 8-Track, a DAW that lets you start composing and performing right away!
MIDIFLEX 4 includes Bitwig 8-Track - an 8-track version of the DAW that lets you immediately start producing, performing, and sound design. Bitwig 8-Track includes over 50 software instruments and effects, allowing you to create music on up to eight audio or MIDI tracks. You can also use commercially available VSTR plug-ins. The included Bitwig Essentials Package provides easy-to-use loops, clips, and samples to help even those new to composing. Inheriting the functionality and appeal of its higher-end counterpart, Bitwig Studio, this compelling music tool serves both as a high-level production tool and a powerful sketchpad for developing musical ideas.
