The Baby Face is the ultimate classic Fuzz Face clone, hand-selecting transistors and repeatedly testing to achieve the optimal sound, all in pursuit of quality that satisfies Roman of Spain.
This fuzz pedal really conveys the feel of your touch on strings, from a sound that can be described as "Scream & Cry" to clean, psychedelic chords when you turn down the guitar volume a little.
This Ge NKT275 is a limited special model.
The germanium transistor used is the NKT275, which was also used in the earliest FuzzFaces.
It has a lower center of gravity than the regular version and a solid, organic sound that hits you hard, which is great.
It can be powered by batteries or an AC adapter (9V, center positive).
