The M8U eX is a compact USB 3.0 MIDI interface with 16 MIDI ports that can be used as both input and output (auto-detection).
It can be connected to a computer and used as a USB MIDI interface, and can also function as a standalone MIDI thru box and MIDI merge box.
It also comes with a three-port USB 3.0 hub, allowing you to connect a USB dongle, USB MIDI keyboard, or an M8U eX (M4U eX) expansion unit, making it an extremely convenient MIDI interface that can be used in everything from private studios to large-scale systems.
Main Features: USB 3.0 MIDI interface; 100% class-compliant device, no driver installation required; USB bus-powered; power adapter included; 16 MIDI ports, 8 on the front and 8 on the rear; Each port automatically detects whether it is an input or output and functions as either a MIDI In or Out; Standalone mode (pass-through, MIDI thru, MIDI merge)
In standalone mode, it can be used as a MIDI thru box, outputting one MIDI signal to 15 ports. In standalone mode, it can be used as a MIDI merge box, merging 15 MIDI signals and outputting them to a single port. Built-in 3-port USB 3.0 hub (5V bus power can be supplied to each port when using the power adapter).
