Description
Description
Delphos II uses a highly optimized transformerless circuit that delivers clear, transparent sound quality. The circuit is manufactured in the USA using low-noise NOS (New Old Stock) transistors and European capacitors.
The two switches on the front are used to switch between omni/cardioid patterns and to turn the -10 dB pad on/off.
Delphos II microphones are manufactured in Roswell Pro Audio's California home base and undergo burn-in and other tests to ensure optimal performance before shipping.
The shock mount included with the Delphos II is a flush-mountable "Cutaway" design, allowing singers and instruments to easily position themselves close to the microphone without being obstructed by the mounting hardware, achieving the natural proximity effect of the microphone.
FEATURES
・DC circuit upgrade for even greater noise reduction ・Large diaphragm capsule for clear, detailed reproduction ・Transformerless circuit for low noise and distortion ・True Cardioid pattern reduces noise level ・Omni pattern reduces proximity effect ・-10 dB Pad included ・Reproduces vintage FET sound using NOS (New Old Stock) parts ・3-layer enamel metallic finish body
COMPONENTS
The transistors used in the Delphos II are all NOS parts for ideal sound quality and circuit design.
The JFETs feature low input capacitance and are manually biased in Rowsell Pro Audio's workshop to ensure maximum signal level without distortion.
All resistors used in the audio signal and power supply sections are high-precision metal film types, achieving extremely low noise. Capacitors in the audio signal circuits are carefully selected to ensure the best sound.
