Description

The BASS 9 Bass Machine transforms your guitar sound into nine different bass sounds without the need for special pickups, MIDI or modifications.

BASS 9 also uses the same technology used in the 9 Series, including the acclaimed MEL9 Tape Replay Machine.
In addition to leveraging this technology, BASS9 also features a new algorithm that lowers the pitch by one to two octaves while maintaining excellent dynamics and tracking.

You can use the rotary switch to select your favorite sound from the following sounds:
PRECISION: A sound that pays homage to the iconic Fender P Bass. LONGHORN: A sound that emulates a Danelectro 6-string bass, perfect for baritone-type tones. FRETLESS: A sound that resembles an electric fretless bass or a light-up bass. SYNTH: A sound that pays tribute to the classic Taurus synthesizer. VIRTUAL: This mode allows you to adjust the body thickness and neck length of the various included bass sounds. BOWED: A sound that resembles a classic bowed bass (double bass/wood bass). SPLIT BASS: You can use the low strings of your guitar (F3# and below) to create bass sounds on your guitar, while simultaneously using the high strings of your guitar to add chorus or melody.
3:03: A polyphonic mode that pays homage to the Roland TB-303 vintage synthesizer. FLIP-FLOP: Inspired by the Electro-Harmonix Octave Multiplexer, this mode recreates the theory-based sub-octave generator of the 70s that helped smooth out glitches in tracks.

BASS 9 features independent volume controls for Effect and Dry, allowing you to precisely adjust the mix balance via the FFECT OUTPUT jack.
The DRY OUTPUT jack always outputs the dry signal at unity gain.
CTRL 1 and 2 are designed to adjust specific parameters for each of the nine programs. For example, in PRECISION, CTRL 1 controls the sub-octave, while CTRL 2 recreates the original instrument tone.
