Introducing a more portable monitoring solution from the development team at ADAM's Berlin headquarters, the same team that brought you ADAM Audio's flagship S-Series studio monitors.
The ADAM Audio STUDIO PRO SP-5 headphones were developed jointly by ADAM Audio and ULTRASONE, two German manufacturers with strengths in engineering.
Both companies are run by audio professionals who are passionate about creating the highest quality audio products.
During product development, the goal was to faithfully reproduce the unique sound that ADAM Audio has made its name with, and the sound was tuned repeatedly through careful component selection.As a result, new materials were used for the diaphragm and housing, etc., in accordance with the wishes of ADAM's development team.
The ADAM Audio STUDIO PRO SP-5 are high-quality, closed-back dynamic headphones with a circumaural design that envelops the ears. Developed for professional monitoring and mixing in studio and mobile environments, they deliver balanced, dynamic music reproduction.
The ADAM SP-5 driver features a 40mm gold-plated diaphragm, providing a wide frequency response of 8Hz to 38kHz and excellent transient response, while minimizing distortion.
The SP-5 excels at high-resolution music playback, boasting a sensitivity of 95dB@1mW/ear, allowing for effortless playback of dynamic sound sources. Supported by patented S-LOGIC RPLUS technology, the SP-5 delivers an analytical soundstage and sound that is gentle on the ears, even during extended use.
In addition, the use of isolation pads and a lightweight body weighing just 290g make these professional studio headphones extremely comfortable to wear.
Designed for both studio and mobile use, the ADAM SP-5 features an input impedance of 70 and a detachable cable. It also comes with a rugged case to protect it from damage while on the road or in transit. The ADAM SP-5 is handmade in Germany.
