Duesenberg's signature model, Starplayer TV!
This popular model is said to have made Duesenberg famous! This archtop guitar features a semi-hollow body, a P-90-type single coil, and an original humbucker. The body size is slightly larger than a Les Paul, making it easy to fit.
The sides and back are made of maple, which brings out a clear, smooth tone, and the top is made of spruce, which has a rich, acoustic tone.This produces a wide-range, thick sound with a unique sharpness and solid feel, resulting in a cool sound that is unlike any other.
The bridge pickup is equipped with a humbucker, delivering a powerful, edgy sound, while the neck pickup, a P-90-style pickup, delivers a thick, crisp, clear, and powerful sound. These versatile pickups are ideal for a wide range of playing styles, from aggressive riffs and chords to cutting and soloing, all while delivering a distinctive sound with a vintage feel. The Bigsby-style tremolo unit not only produces subtle vibrato, but also a distinctive tension, giving the guitar a retro look.
This is a representative MADE IN GERMAN instrument that not only exudes atmosphere, but also demonstrates its potential as an instrument!
