The Shape 40 is the most compact studio monitor in Focal Professional's lineup, and is also the perfect solution for nearfield monitoring. Even at extremely close listening distances of just 60cm, it retains an astonishingly extended low frequency response. Thanks to its excellent design and precise adjustment capabilities, the Shape 40 provides the ideal listening environment, even in small rooms of less than 10 square meters.

The Focal Professional Shape series is designed to meet the needs of nearfield monitoring by combining superior speaker design with optimal adjustment functions for listening in small rooms.

All Focal Professional speaker components are designed and manufactured in France, and all three Shape models combine spaciousness and precise stereo imaging to produce unprecedented acoustic transparency.
The flax woofer cone and dual radiators, made from flax fiber, maximize acoustic performance by providing precisely controlled low frequencies and an extremely neutral midrange and low-midrange sound. This eliminates any sense of masking and facilitates easy EQ adjustment. Furthermore, the newly developed M-shape/inverted dome tweeter delivers high resolution and precision in the high-frequency response.
