Description
The Friedman Fuzz Fiend features a high-voltage (220 volt) 12AX7A preamplifier for a more natural, intense sound. In conjunction with the RAGE switch, the Fuzz Fiend can create anything from light fuzz to deep, intense fuzz. While the RAGE switch is engaged, the Fuzz Fiend's circuitry becomes unstable, producing sustained sustain and buzzing. Turning down the guitar volume increases the sustain. The Bass, Mid, and Treble controls allow for further adjustment of the Fuzz Fiend's tone. Because tubes require more current than transistors, a power supply capable of delivering at least 350-400mA is required.
