While maintaining a natural, warm sound, the R-series successfully overcomes ribbon's fatal drawback of high sound pressure. We've finally created a tough ribbon that can withstand 135 dB of sound pressure (R Series). Furthermore, the high S/N ratio and high output achieved by carefully selected parts and low-noise FETs are the culmination of Royer's craftsmanship.
The Royer ribbon microphone can be used for a wide range of applications, from vocals and brass to piano, guitar amps, and drums. You will be amazed and pleased with its delicate and fresh sound.
