Multi-pattern large diaphragm condenser microphone with outstanding sound quality.
At first glance, the LCT640TS appears to be a new condenser microphone added to Lewitt's lineup, but it is an innovative microphone that allows you to change its directionality after recording, and has the potential to change the very concept of recording.

The LCT640TS features two diaphragms, one in front and one behind, that pick up and output the sound independently for recording. This unique microphone seamlessly switches from omnidirectional to bidirectional after recording, and even allows for a 180-degree change in microphone direction. This functionality allows you to increase the amount of ambient sound depending on the sound you need after recording, create creative stereo recording techniques, or record face-to-face duets.

Additionally, by placing the microphone sideways toward the source, you can achieve Mid Side (MS) stereo recording using just the LCT640TS. The front side acts as the left and the rear side acts as the right. Summing both signals creates the mid channel. The easiest way to achieve this is to input the signal as a stereo track in your DAW and control the stereo width.

Additionally, the newly developed Polarizer plug-in is bundled. This plug-in allows seamless control of microphone directionality during the mixing stage. Polarizer is compatible with major formats (VST, AU, AAX) and Mac & Windows. Directionality can also be controlled manually from a DAW or mixing console. The LCT640TS is a microphone that inherits the basic performance of Lewitt's flagship FET large-diaphragm microphone, the LCT640, while allowing you to manipulate directionality like a time machine.
