Description
The now-classic Deluxe Electric Mistress flanger has been redesigned with several improvements for players who prefer modern pedals, and now comes in a compact die-cast housing.
The circuit remains the same as the original, and the power supply is a 9.6DC-200 adapter or a 9V battery.
The adoption of true bypass improves the quality of the tone when the effect is off, and the addition of an LED makes it easy to see whether the effect is on or off.
The original Electric Misttress was released in 1976, with a Deluxe version added two years later.
Throughout its decades-long history, players continue to be captivated by its rich, deep flanger sound and filter matrix effect.
In Filter Matrix mode, the modulation waveform is disconnected from the flanger circuit, creating a filter matrix with a static flanger effect.
This allows the player to create chime-like sounds by layering (overtones) on top of the original sound.
Like its predecessor, it delivers incredibly rich and deep flanger effects in a compact size that fits easily on a pedalboard.

Control
RATE: Controls the speed of the flanger modulation.
RANGE: Sets the lower limit of the sweep. Turning it fully counterclockwise will set the lowest limit of the sweep to the highest value, narrowing the sweep width (the range of tone change).
COLOR: Acts as a tone control. Neutral at 12 o'clock.
FILTER MATRIX Switch: When this is ON, the modulation waveform is separated from the flanger circuit, allowing you to statically generate the flanger effect and form a filter matrix. In this case, the RANGE control determines the filter position, and the COLOR control determines the degree of accentuation of the overtone created by the filter matrix. By setting the RANGE and COLOR appropriately, you can even simulate a unison guitar sound and chimes.
In this case, the RATE control has no effect.
