Description
The classic vacuum tube DI. The most reliable and beautiful sound.
MainFrontRearSince its release in 1980, is there any other DI (direct box) that has been used by so many famous musicians?
Big names such as Ry Cooder, The Rolling Stones, REM, AC/DC, Sting, Bob Dylan, Pete Townshend, Neil Young, The Who, KISS, Aerosmith, Richard Thompson, Chet Atkins, Leo Kottke, The Eagles, CSN&Y, Smashing Pumpkins, Howie Epstein, U2, and more use the VTDB-2B on stage and in recordings.
The exceptionally high impedance (27M ohms) input allows for direct output of your guitar or bass sound without loss. It's compatible with all electric guitar and bass pickups, including active, passive, single-coil, and humbucker pickups, as well as keyboards and samplers. Its high reputation as a DI for acoustic guitars equipped with piezo pickups, which require precise reproduction of nuance, attests to the DEMETER VTDB-2B's natural sound reproduction. The generous headroom expands the dynamic range of your sound.
The beautiful sound, achieved through meticulously hand-picked 12AX7EH tubes and a JENSEN output transformer, is a classic sound quality enveloped in rich harmonics. This exceptionally warm and wonderful vacuum tube sound is a must-have for digital recording. It also features a 14dB boost switch, a ground lift switch, and a power LED. It also features a tube-buffered balanced XLR output and a through-out for connecting to an amplifier or other device. It can also be used as a line driver.
