The d+ RCA series is an analog audio cable that truly shines when connecting digital DJ equipment such as CDJs and audio interfaces to a DJ mixer. Designed with feedback from DJs and artists, these cables boast superior sound quality that is incomparable to ordinary cables.
This cable was designed with a simple structure that emphasizes the combination of materials and eliminates unnecessary elements to maximize the reproduction of three-dimensional, low-distortion sound even with compressed digital sources such as MP3. The conductors are made of PCOCC-A conductors with a maximum diameter of 1.25 sq. to minimize transmission loss.
Furthermore, the flat structure helps to avoid various types of interference.
The plug plating was selected at the club and is platinum and rhodium plated, which has the best sound quality for a club sound (class S only).
As a result, the d+RCA series has excellent electrical characteristics and significantly reduces transmission loss, delivering a direct, distortion-free signal that delivers three-dimensional sound and rich information even in digital systems.
The clean sound reproduction means your ears won't get tired even when listening at high volume for long periods of time, allowing you to concentrate on your DJ performance.
Furthermore, when used with PC-based DJ equipment such as Serato SCRACHTLIVE or Native Instruments TRAKTOR, using it in conjunction with the d+USB series will dramatically improve sound quality and stability.
In addition to sound quality, the series is packed with ideas for DJ usability, such as an excellent design that will boost your motivation, cable and plug colors that make them easy to identify even in dark places, and a convenient cable bag (included with class S and class A) that makes it easy to carry.
Just as many DJs who play vinyl records are concerned with the sound quality of their cartridges, the digital world has ushered in an era where choosing the sound quality of cables is crucial. The d+RCA series is a masterpiece item of next-generation DJ gear.
Both class A and class S cables use "PCOCC-A" conductors. "PCOCC-A" is a single-crystal copper PCOCC, which theoretically eliminates grain boundaries in the signal transmission direction, and is further annealed to match it with analog audio signals. Impurities within the conductor have been eliminated, so there is nothing to impede the flow of signals.
This produces a clean sound without distortion.
The Class B conductors are made of high-purity OFC with minimal impurities, resulting in stable transmission and balanced sound reproduction with minimal distortion.
The conductor diameter is AWG18 for class A and class B, and AWG16 for class S, boasting a large capacity. This reduces conductor resistance and contributes greatly to reducing signal loss.
The conductor structure uses reverse concentric twisting, which increases the density between the wires and ensures uniform twisting, eliminating random gaps and inter-wire distortion that can cause sound quality degradation.
- The flat design of the cable avoids transmission loss, impedance changes, and capacitance changes caused by distortion inside the cable when it is bent.
- By using a polyolefin insulator with a low dielectric constant and a TPE sheath (class A/class S), signal attenuation is reduced and stable signal transmission is achieved over a wide frequency band.
The phosphor bronze used for the plug boasts high conductivity and strength. The Class S connector uses a platinum/rhodium combination plating, which provides accurate phase and excellent bandwidth balance. Gold plating is used for Class A and Class B connectors. These connectors are highly durable and maintain transmission performance for a long period of time.
