Description
Traditionally, covering snare drums with genuine leather has been the standard choice for orchestras and wind bands because it blends well with the music they play. However, genuine leather can be delicate and sensitive to temperature and humidity, and it is expensive, so it is unlikely to be used in many school wind band percussion instruments.
The newly developed Remo Skintone head, specifically designed for concert snares, is an ultra-thin 8 mil (200 micrometers) head that produces a round, bold sound image that then fades away in an instant, allowing you to experience the comfortable "tightness" of genuine leather. Its laminated structure of plastic film and polyester fiber perfectly reproduces the soft, transparent tone of genuine leather, regardless of temperature or humidity, just as its name suggests. It also allows you to freely create a sound that blends seamlessly into the ensemble, making this a must-try model for wind band snare drums.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
