PROGRAMS
Spring
Spring emulates the "springy" spring reverb found in classic tube amps. Easily go from a subtle spring sound to authentic surf rock tones and even more extreme tones. Try twisting the Decay knob to explore experimental sounds beyond the reach of traditional spring reverbs.
Hall
Hall simulates the acoustics of a large venue like a concert hall or arena. Set the right encoder to a long decay and a high size to create a flood of reverb. Set the right encoder to a short decay and a low size to create a small reverb sound.
Plate
Plate is inspired by famous plate reverbs like the EMT140 (ElektroMess Technik, Germany) and emulates an analog plate reverb with a smooth, even spaciousness.
BFR
BFR is big, fxxking, reverb. This is more than a giant arena reverb; it's a rich, decaying hall-style reverb that echoes through a vast cavern filled with angelic choirs.
Refract
RFRCT produces a granular delay module with a controllable amount of reverb, resulting in beautiful, captivating, glitchy textures. The DIFFUSE control allows you to set the amount of reverb from dry to heavily diffused. The RATE control below the left encoder sets how often new grains are generated. The DEPTH control sets the modulation applied to the grains, including reverse, grain regeneration, and modulation.
Air
The Air program is a spacious reverb mode with a slight shimmer, giving it a clearer tone over the decay. Look for a shimmer sound that builds slowly without getting in the way of your playing. It can also create keyboard or synthesizer-like tones.
PRESETS
The R1 MKII has a total of 128 preset slots. To access a preset, press the left and center encoders simultaneously. The first nine presets can be selected from banks A/B/C and accessed directly from the pedal using the BYPASS and TAP/SKIP switches to toggle between presets. All 128 presets can be accessed via MIDI program change messages.
