Description
Description
A very eerie and cohesive filter sound unlike anything I've ever heard before.
And the most demonic fuzz on the planet: velvet ribbons, barbed wire, blossoming bass, and sublime glitchiness.
All of this is a key to escaping reality.
Slice through your sound and transform your signals with the Devil.
The EVIL FILTER is a unique masterpiece pedal that combines an excellent HP/BP/LP filter with a wildly variable range and DBA's signature devilish fuzz.
The sophisticated filter sound, which uses an IC chip for medical equipment, can be continuously adjusted between 0Hz and 10.5kHz, and can be switched between high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass filters.
Furthermore, the filter resonance is perfectly designed so that not only can the peak be continuously adjusted with a knob, but the range can also be set to 10x with a switch.
The filter frequency knob can also be controlled by an external expression pedal (sold separately) connected to the EXP/CV terminal or a CV signal from a modular synth, allowing you to vary the filter or create wah effects during live performances, or vary the filter in sync with an analog synth arpeggio.
Of course, the DBA also includes a fuzz circuit. This EVIL FUZZ is perfectly tuned to produce a dark and ominous tone with an extreme filter sound, and has been optimized to allow for a wide range of fuzz sounds to be created in combination with various filter settings.
Death By Audio's genius circuit design has created this precise and versatile filter!
And what's more, DBA has secretly hidden the devil in it.
Guitars, basses, synths, drum machines...all the instruments and sound sources you own should be possessed by the devil.
■CONTROLS
・Filter Freq knob: The cutoff frequency can be continuously adjusted over a wide range from 0Hz to 10.5kHz.
・Filter Output knob: Output volume of the filter section.
Filter Selector switch: Selects the filter type. A three-position switch allows you to choose between high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass filters.
Filter Resonance knob: Adjusts the filter's resonance peak. A higher filter peak will cause oscillation.
・Resonance switch: Allows you to set the range of the Filter Resonance knob to Normal or High (x10 range).
Fuzz Output Knob: Adjusts the output volume of the Devil Fuzz. Combined with the filter, this creates a wonderfully sinister sound.
Fuzz Type switch: Changes the fuzz character in two stages. The lower position provides a soft fuzz touch, while the upper position provides a more aggressive, square wave fuzz sound.
EXP/CV Input: Connect an expression pedal (standard expression pedal, sold separately) to change the FREQUENCY parameter in real time during performance. This allows you to freely control the extreme high-peak oscillator filter sound or fuzz-wah sound that matches the song.
It also supports CV, so you can synchronize the filter's operation to a standard +/-5V CV signal from a modular synth or similar.
