Description
Description
The Angry Charlie is a distortion pedal that produces a high-gain sound reminiscent of a Marshall stack.
Compared to the JTM45 sound of Charlie Brown, it can produce a high-gain sound with a more solid feel.
Building on the vintage Guv'nor with significant improvements, this monster pedal is the pedal any player looking for the high-gain sound of a JCM800 has been waiting for.
The V3 Angry Charlie has expanded its versatility without changing its sound, allowing you to reach classic distortion and even high-gain distortion.
The Angry Charlie V3 features five control knobs: Volume, Drive, Bass, Middle, and Treble, giving it an amp-like feel.
The Volume knob works like a standard master volume on an amplifier: turn it to the right for louder, turn it to the left for quieter. The Drive control offers an incredibly wide range of gain settings, from overdrive to heavy, full-on grind.
And the all-new 3-band EQ section in V3 is the same tone stack as found in real amps, allowing you to create realistic Marshall amp tones.
The Bass, Middle, and Treble controls are all flat at the 12 o'clock position and are active equalizers that allow you to cut/boost certain bands.
If you're a player who enjoys the British high-gain amp sound, the Angry Charlie V3 could be life-changing.
That great classic distortion sound is present in this pedal.
High-gain sound, and "real" high-gain sound, is now here.
