Description

[Display model with minor scratches - special price]
The Catalyst is a 2-channel combo amplifier that offers the same simple operation as traditional guitar amplifiers, while providing the high versatility characteristic of modern amplifiers.

From the 200W Catalyst CX 200, capable of handling large stages, to the 60W Catalyst CX 60, ideal for practice, recording, and performances in smaller venues, we offer three models to meet every player's needs.

To achieve exceptional tone and feel, it utilizes the highly acclaimed HX technology and features 12 original amp designs ranging from pure clean tones to modern high-gain sounds.

The robust enclosure makes it suitable for both stage and studio use, and it features XLR line outputs and a 4-channel USB recording interface. It also boasts a variety of features, including boost circuits optimized for each amp type, a reverb section with 6 types of reverb, 18 additional effects, an effects loop, a power amp input for use as a powered speaker for guitar processors such as Helix, MIDI functionality, and attenuation options to adjust the output level.

The free Catalyst Edit software (compatible with PC and mobile devices) allows for more detailed sound shaping.

In addition to the LFS2 footswitch for switching channels and effects on/off, a dedicated cover is also available separately.

■Main Features
1. Original Amp Design: Featuring 12 original amp designs ranging from pure clean to modern high-gain, created by Line 6's sound design team using HX technology, the same team behind the flagship amp and effects processor, the Helix.

2. Familiar Operation: The top of the amplifier features knobs similar to those on conventional amplifiers, such as volume, gain, and tone controls, while the interior houses countless effects and convenient functions.

3. Professional-grade connectivity
With XLR line outputs and a 4-channel USB interface, it can be easily connected to PA equipment and recording systems. It also features a ground lift.

4. 24 additional effects
Inherited from Helix, it features 24 different effects, with 6 variations each for modulation, delay, pitch effect, and reverb.

5. Output Power: Selectable between half power, 0.5W, and mute, allowing for low volume operation while minimizing tonal changes.

6. By bypassing the power amplifier input preamplifier, the Catalyst CX can be used as a powered speaker for amp modelers and simulators.
