Description

A beautiful used Combustion with a quilt maple top and 3 pickups has arrived!

Dingwall has impressed first-call bassist Lee Sklar, who has participated in recordings and live performances with many famous artists, and has earned high praise from bassists around the world for its distinctive FANNED-FRET SYSTEM, body balance, and pickup placement.

Combustion is a popular model that boasts high cost performance while maintaining quality comparable to higher-end models, thanks to its sourcing of wood in Canada and the United States, processing at a factory in China, and assembly at a workshop in Canada.

This guitar features a swamp ash body with a quilted maple top and a pau ferro fingerboard, resulting in a clear, open tone. Dingwall's signature pickup configuration allows for a wide range of tonal shaping, from crisp, solid sounds to thick, powerful, and punchy tones. Combined with the wide range of the built-in EMG preamp, this model faithfully reproduces the player's nuances, capturing every single note accurately.

It features a 3-pickup configuration, and a rotary switch allows you to switch between four patterns: front pickup only, front and rear pickups, center and rear pickups, and rear pickup only. Since the sound character differs depending on the position, you can use it flexibly to suit the situation.

The scale length starts at 37 inches for the 5th string, and the 1st string is 34 inches, the same as a standard long scale, employing a FANNED-FRET SYSTEM. This results in well-balanced tension and a solid tone across all strings, and the tight vibration of the low B string provides a well-defined sound, which is a major appeal of this instrument.
