Kiko Loureiro, widely known as the guitarist for Megadeth and former ANGRA, has a new signature model!

◆S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple 1pc Neck: Made with maple wood treated with S-TECH, a nitrogen heat treatment technology.
Wood treated with ESTEC technology possesses features such as dimensional stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes, and this technology is patented in Japan.
Furthermore, the finish uses an oil finish that gives it the texture of a well-played guitar neck.
This comfort grip features a smooth, rounded shape from the joint between the fretboard and neck down to the fretboard edge.
The shape is designed with particular consideration for ease of gripping at the lower frets and for classical style playing with the thumb resting on the back of the neck at the higher frets.

◆Rosewood fingerboard: Features a rosewood fingerboard, known for its balanced sound character and warm tone.

◆Jumbo-sized stainless steel frets: These stainless steel frets offer excellent maintainability, a quick attack, clear separation in chord playing, and a clear sound when playing individual notes.
It features a jumbo size, which allows for light touch fingering and is excellent for playing fast passages and smooth bending.

◆Gotoh MG-T Locking Machine Heads: Equipped with Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads, known for their ease of string changes and excellent tuning stability.
The design allows you to easily lock the strings through the post holes by turning a dial with your finger.

◆Super All Access Neck Joint: The Super All Access neck joint features a stepped carving with an 8mm height difference from the back of the body, and the joint with the neck is finished with a spherical surface, resulting in superior playability.
The cutaway on the bass string side is designed to be shallower, maximizing the contact area between the body and neck. This achieves both high playability and excellent sustain and resonance.

◆Body contours designed exclusively for the AZ: This is an original body shape that aims for a contemporary design.
The thinly finished body contour and large elbow contour create a sense of unity between the player and the guitar, greatly contributing to improved playability.
Furthermore, the deeper waist of the body improves handling when held and on stage, resulting in high playability. The radius of the corners differs between the front and back of the body, creating an ergonomic design that provides a comfortable fit the moment you pick up the guitar, whether sitting or standing.

Featuring steel saddles and a zinc die-cast inertia block for quick response and a tight sound, this guitar also boasts excellent note separation during chord work.

◆DiMarzio KIKO Original Pickups: These pickups feature a wide dynamic range, perfectly suited to Kiko's playing style, which encompasses a wide range of genres from metal to jazz and fusion.
The neck and bridge positions feature medium-output humbucker pickups with a balanced frequency response.
The middle position features a single-coil pickup that is more powerful and warmer than typical vintage single-coil pickups, taking into consideration the balance with the neck and bridge pickups.
