◆Oil finish: An oil finish is used for the paintwork. The thin coating achieved through oil painting allows you to enjoy a direct sound.

◆C-Shape Grip: The MC1 model features a C-shaped neck grip that is easy to hold regardless of hand size. The satin finish allows for smooth and stress-free position changes.

◆Improved playability in the higher positions: The 'MC' model has a wider horn section on the higher string side compared to the traditional ST type.
This improves playability in the higher positions, and allows players with large hands to comfortably ascend to the higher frets.

◆Recessed joint plate processing: While employing an orthodox plate joint to avoid compromising the traditional sound characteristics, the plate section has been recessed to improve playability.

◆Wood binding to prevent fingerboard problems: The sides of the fingerboard are fitted with wood binding made from the same material as the fingerboard.
This makes the sides of the fretboard very smooth and also prevents problems such as fret burrs sticking out.

◆Wide-width rod adjustment: The uniquely shaped headstock features a wide adjustment hole that allows for smooth neck adjustment.
The shape has also been made wider to allow for easier adjustment.

◆'Awake' Pick-up
As part of the 2026 Momose product renewal, it is equipped with the newly developed "Awake" pickup.
Alnico 4 magnets are used for the front and center positions to produce sweet highs and a natural tone, while Alnico 5 magnets are used for the rear position, which tends to have a thinner sound, in order to achieve a powerful and edgy sound.
While aiming for the "desired sound" in each position, the balance has been adjusted to create a sense of unity, and as the name suggests, this pickup is designed to awaken the performer's expressiveness and creativity.

◆Centralab Oil Capacitors: With the development of the new pickup, we have also reviewed and revised the capacitors.
From among numerous candidates, we chose Centralab's oil capacitors based on their compatibility with the pickups.
Its responsiveness to the player's nuances and its bright, forward-projecting sound create a new Momose tone.

◆Luminlay side dots made of phosphorescent material: All models feature Luminlay side position markers, a phosphorescent material that stores light and releases it in the dark.
This design is highly valued on stages in live music venues and concert halls where low-light lighting effects, such as blackouts, are used, and it enjoys strong support from professional musicians.
It reduces the risk of losing sight of your hands in the dark.

◆Puretone Jacks: All models feature Puretone jacks, renowned for their secure jack hold and low noise level.
Unlike conventional jacks which have one hot terminal and one cold terminal, this jack has two hot and two cold terminals, securely holding the plug from both sides.
It resists loosening even after prolonged use, providing stable performance to support the player's musical activities.

◆A fingerboard that accommodates diverse playing styles: It features a 310R fingerboard, which is closer to a flatter radius than vintage styles.
This allows for even lower string action than before, making it easier to attempt technical playing that requires fast fretting.
