FAQ

Description

This is the Mele strap, a domestically produced, handmade strap that combines design and functionality, supervised by ukulele player Sho Naito.

It uses "paracord," which is lightweight and extremely durable, and is also highly valued in outdoor gear!

The hook that supports the ukulele is made of rubber, so there's no need to worry about damaging your precious instrument.

Each strap is meticulously hand-woven, and the stylish color variations add a touch of elegance to your ukulele.

Furthermore, as part of our commitment to a sustainable society, each strap is lovingly handcrafted at welfare facilities throughout Japan. This not only delivers the warmth and reliable quality that only handmade products can offer, but also contributes to society.

This is our top recommended ukulele strap right now! It's easy to use even with ukuleles that don't have an end pin; simply hook it onto the soundhole!

【Mele's Vision】 Mele = Hawaiian for music and song. A strap woven with lightness, gentleness, and the warmth of handcrafted work.

May we all share the colors and joy that spread from a single string.

[Regarding installation methods and specifications]

Simply hook it onto the soundhole!
The hook is attached to the underside of the ukulele's soundhole, and the string is wrapped around the back of the body and worn around the neck.

The hooks are made of rubber, making them gentle on your instrument, and the design allows you to neatly tie up any excess string so it doesn't get in the way of playing.

• Easy length adjustment at the back of the neck: Simply slide the two knots (stoppers) at the back of the neck to adjust the length to suit your body type and playing style.

The two knots securely lock it in place, so there's no need to worry about it shifting during performance.

• Choose a style to suit your mood: By combining the long and short side parts, you can attach it in your preferred position.

Recommended style: A comfortable style that takes advantage of the cushioning of the macrame weave and is placed at the back of the neck. Stylish style: A style that shows off the intricate weave at the front.

[Size and Specifications]
Length adjustment range: Maximum approx. 70cm to minimum approx. 15cm
Width (braided section): Maximum approximately 20mm (one side)

*This product is a strap designed to hang a ukulele around your neck. Always support the ukulele with both hands while playing (releasing your hands completely may cause the instrument to fall).
