The ES-350T, a guitar familiar to many rock and roll legends, is a 17-inch wide, slim-bodied model produced from 1955 to 1963. It was re-released in the late 1970s and has remained a hidden gem with occasional production runs ever since.

This particular guitar is a 1958 model with a Venetian (rounded) cutaway. With its slim body and humbucking pickups, it retains the fullness characteristic of a 17-inch body while also boasting the crisp tone that is characteristic of other ES models.

【body】
The overall weight is a light 2.95kg. The archtop body, a Venetian (rounded) cutaway design typical of pre-1960 models, is constructed from maple and features a hollow structure with a width of approximately 432mm (17 inches) and a rim width of approximately 55.8mm (2.2 inches). The body top, sides, and back reveal elegant wood grain depending on the viewing angle. The distinctive tailpiece is engraved with the model name. There is some weather checking commensurate with its age, some minor dents and paint chipping, some plating wear on the pickup cover, and some tarnishing on the parts, but it can be said to be in relatively good condition, while still having the atmosphere of a vintage instrument. A strap pin has been added near the left side of the neck joint. In addition, the switch tip and the front pickup ring retaining screw have been replaced.

【neck】
The neck is a three-piece construction of maple/walnut/maple, with an elegant grain pattern visible in the maple. The fingerboard is made of beautiful rosewood, typical of this period. Weather checking is visible on the headstock, back of the neck, and at the joints of the materials, similar to the body. Although there are scratches, paint peeling, and tarnishing on the metal parts, it can be said to be in good condition, similar to the body. The tuners have been replaced with Japanese-made ones of the same type as the original and are fully functional. The frets and nut have been replaced, and the playability is good. The fingerboard radius is also maintained at approximately 10 inches. The nut width is 41.9mm. It features a relatively sturdy neck shape.

[Electrical System]
The controls are the standard 3-way pickup selector, front pickup volume, front pickup tone, rear pickup volume, and rear pickup tone. The pickups are narrow-pitch, designed for short scales, similar to Byrdland guitars of the same period. Although there are a few places where the soldering has been redone, the control components, including the pickups, remain in their original condition.

The instrument's excellent condition is evident from its rich volume and harmonic richness in its acoustic sound. In plugged-in mode, it retains the full body resonance characteristic of a 17-inch hollow body, while the narrow-pitch PAF humbucker delivers a quick attack and clear separation that is truly appealing. In the front position, it produces a sweet, lustrous mid-low range with rich harmonics, creating a jazzy tone. In the rear position, a crisp attack and clear high frequencies are added, resulting in a bright and crisp sound. From sweet jazz guitar tones to clean rock and roll sounds, as evidenced by the artists who use it, this is a highly versatile and appealing instrument. It has a fantastic sound.
