Description
Description
These are carefully selected instruments chosen by Hartman Guitars' chief, Akita, from the manufacturer's domestic warehouse stock (actual images).
We carefully select each and every instrument, paying attention to everything from the wood grain of the top and back to the subtle differences in sound.
This particular model, "#3051395," is characterized by its well-balanced sound image and brilliant overtones.
Unlike many dreadnoughts, this guitar has a well-balanced range from low to high frequencies, making it very easy to play.
The harmonics in the high frequencies are detailed and rich, making it the perfect sound for vocal music.
This is definitely a guitar I can recommend, both in terms of looks and sound! Don't miss out!
--------------------------------------------------------
[A fusion of tradition and innovation—the "Martin D-41 Standard" has evolved into a modern standard]
The D-41 is a popular model in Martin's acoustic guitar lineup that brilliantly combines the practicality of the traditional D-28 with the dazzling ornamentation and sound of the top-of-the-line D-45.
The top is made of high-quality spruce, and the sides and back are made of carefully selected Indian rosewood.
The vertical logo (CF MARTIN) on the headstock, the inlays on the fretboard, and the vibrant abalone rosette and purfling around the body top give it an overwhelming presence on stage.
■ The exquisite sound balance unique to the D-41 In terms of sound quality, it boasts the rich and deep bass characteristic of a dreadnought with rosewood sides and back, as well as the brilliant and transparent bell-like high frequencies unique to the 40 series. It produces a cohesive sound when strumming chords, and each note resonates beautifully even with delicate fingerpicking.
Furthermore, compared to the top-of-the-line "D-45" model, the decorative process is streamlined, resulting in a more refined harmonic structure and a clearer, more easily audible fundamental tone.
The D-41's true strength lies in its exquisite balance—more gorgeous than the D-28, yet more rugged and easier to handle than the D-45—and it enjoys immense popularity, especially among players who specialize in vocal-driven music where the guitar's sound is particularly important.
■ 2025 - The "New D-41" with further evolution
In 2025, the D-41 underwent further evolution. By incorporating traditional construction elements found in vintage dreadnought guitars, it achieves a richer sound and longer sustain. While inheriting the coveted traditional sound, it has been reborn as a more refined guitar that meets the needs of modern players and the music scene.
The most significant improvements are the changes to the bracing, which is crucial to the tone of an acoustic guitar, and the changes to the neck shape, which directly impacts playability.
The bracing style has been changed to the Golden Era shape GE-Scalloped X, which is used in the popular Modern Deluxe series. This results in a fuller, more breathable tone and longer sustain.
The neck shape has been changed to the GE Modified Low Oval, which is based on the highly regarded Low Oval shape but adds a vintage-like feel while minimizing the increase in mass. Furthermore, the fingerboard features a thin, smoothly beveled Comfort Edge, and the string spacing at the nut has also been improved, further enhancing playability.
The key difference is that, unlike the Authentic Series which pursues vintage specifications, this model has been improved as a modern, easy-to-use standard. Rather than simply returning to vintage designs, it pursues "easy-to-use, good sound" for the modern music scene, resulting in a significant improvement in both sound and playability.
The reborn D-41 Standard, a blend of tradition and innovation, will be your partner in bringing out the full joy of playing music.
