Description
The Deluxe Big Muff Pi is known as one of the models in Electro-Harmonix's Big Muff series that is particularly capable of creating a wide range of sounds.
The Deluxe Big Muff Pi 2 incorporates these versatile functions into the Big Muff 2, which employs a dual op-amp circuit. Equipped with a WICKER switch, noise gate, and a footswitch-switchable MIDS section, it allows for a wide range of tones, from the classic Big Muff sound to unique fuzz sounds.

The Deluxe Big Muff Pi 2 inherits the original's powerful, gritty midrange and the Big Muff's signature extended sustain, while offering even greater flexibility in sound shaping.
In addition to the basic VOLUME, TONE, and SUSTAIN controls, the BLEND knob allows you to adjust the balance between the original and distorted sounds. This allows you to retain the punch of the fuzz while adding definition to the original tone, making it easier to maintain the core sound within a band mix. The GATE knob suppresses unwanted noise that occurs when you're not playing.

The 3-stage WICKER switch allows you to add high-frequency clarity and brightness in two stages. The parametric MIDS section features a dedicated footswitch that allows you to boost or cut selected mid-range frequencies. Furthermore, the HIGH/LOW Q switch and frequency and level adjustments allow for detailed sound shaping, such as adding thickness to the sound or highlighting specific frequency bands.

By connecting an expression pedal or CV controller to the EXP input, you can control the MIDS FREQ in real time from your foot. By continuously manipulating the midrange frequencies, you can create bold sounds like fuzz or wah.

The footswitch supports both normal latching and momentary operation.
Normally, pressing the button toggles the effect on and off, while pressing and holding it temporarily switches the state only while you are pressing it.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
