A limited edition black and gold version of the bass guitar from "ACE BASS," the bass brand produced by Akira Akiraka, the bassist of THE ORAL CIGARETTES, is now available!

ACE BASS is a bass brand produced by Akira Akiraka, the bassist of THE ORAL CIGARETTES.

"In this world where digital sound sources are becoming increasingly prevalent, I want to spread the appeal of the electric bass to more people." With this in mind, Akira launched his brand, and he has already produced the "AB-5 PRO," a 5-string bass that he uses himself, and it has made its debut on stage.
And now, inheriting that look and specifications, we are releasing the "AB-4 STD," a 4-string bass that pursues even greater cost performance. Manufactured by Sago New Material Guitars, it is priced affordably for beginners while realizing Akira's vision of the "ideal electric bass." The refined body shape and matte black finish give it a rock-and-roll yet elegant look.

This is a model that we highly recommend you try, whether you're just starting out with bass or you've been interested in the "AB-5 PRO" used by the artist himself but haven't been able to get your hands on one yet.

The concept began in 2020, and we are finally able to release the first model in the ACE BASS series.

Thanks to the cooperation of many people, I was able to find a workshop that could fulfill my ideal vision, and through steady discussions, I believe we were able to create the perfect bottle.

This electric bass is perfect for anyone who's interested in bass guitars but doesn't know what kind to get, or hasn't yet found the perfect one.

One of my dreams is for the day to come when I can make music together with you, who holds this ACE BASS in your hands.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

■ Stock

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

  • North America & Oceania: 20–30 days (estimated)

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties

Import duties, taxes, and fees are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These fees are typically collected by the carrier upon delivery or at pickup. Please check with your country’s customs office for details before purchasing.

Our product warranty is valid only within Japan.

All electrical products are intended for the Japanese market and are designed for 100 V operation.

Based on the regulations of the shipping company, aviation laws, and the laws and import regulations of the destination country, we cannot ship dangerous goods or restricted items internationally.
