Description
Description
◆The oil finish paint job uses a white oil finish that makes the parts colors stand out. The matching headstock and the use of the same color for the brand logo as the parts create a unified design.
◆Refreshed preset panel contents ①Series/Parallel Switch
Where you would normally find a preset ON/OFF switch, this guitar uses a Series/Parallel switch. When the switch is on the right, it's connected in parallel, allowing you to switch between the front and rear pickups using the selector, just like on a typical guitar.
When the switch is on the left, the pickups are connected in series, increasing the output. This allows you to switch the large-size single-coil pickups to a thick, sustained tone similar to a humbucker, resulting in a sound that can handle an even wider range of genres.
*When connected in series, the selector switch will not work, but the various knobs will still be usable.
② High-pass Filter
The preset volume position features a high-pass filter. When the pot is turned all the way up, the high frequencies are passed through, but when the pot is turned down, the high frequencies are completely blocked. This makes it possible to create tones that tone down the characteristic high frequencies of the JM model.
③ Low-pass filter
The preset tone position features a low-pass filter. When the pot is turned all the way up, the low frequencies are passed through, but when the pot is turned down, the low frequencies are completely blocked.
◆Standard equipped with MS-type saddles that prevent string slippage This model comes standard with MS-type saddles that prevent string slippage. In addition to high tuning stability, it also provides a deep low-mid resonance and long sustain in terms of sound.
◆Recessed joint plate processing: While employing an orthodox plate joint to avoid compromising the traditional sound characteristics, the plate section has been recessed to improve playability.
◆Wood binding to prevent fretboard problems The sides of the fretboard are fitted with wood binding made from the same material as the fretboard. This makes the sides of the fretboard very smooth and also prevents problems such as fret burrs sticking out.
◆Wide Rod Adjustment The uniquely shaped headstock features a wide adjustment hole that allows for smooth neck adjustment. The shape has also been widened to make adjustments easier.
-New specifications following the renewal-
◆Hotrod Pickup
With the renewal of Momose products in 2026, the specifications of the conventional Hotrod pickups have been improved. The output has been slightly increased and fine-tuned, so while the rich, harmonically rich sound in clean tones remains the same, it is now easier to create sounds suitable for lead playing.
◆Luminlay side dots made of phosphorescent material: All models feature Luminlay side position markers, a phosphorescent material that stores light and releases it in the dark. This is highly valued on stages in live music venues and concert halls where low-light lighting effects such as blackouts occur, and it is a feature that is highly favored by professional musicians. It reduces the risk of losing sight of your hands in the dark.
◆Puretone Jacks: All models feature Puretone(R) jacks, renowned for their secure hold and low noise. Unlike conventional jacks, which have one hot terminal and two cold terminals, these jacks securely hold the plug from both sides. This ensures that the plug remains stable even after prolonged use, supporting the player's performance activities with consistent performance.
◆A fingerboard that accommodates diverse playing styles: This guitar features a 310R fingerboard, which is flatter than vintage-style fingerboards. This allows for lower string action than ever before, making it easier to try technical playing that requires fast fretting.
