This top-of-the-line, domestically produced MODE model, which was also exhibited at Sound Messe and generated a lot of buzz, is a rare model with only one unit available in Japan!
This model is a limited edition, Japanese-made model produced in a high-class domestic workshop specifically for the overseas market.

Crafted with exquisite precision by skilled Japanese artisans, this instrument respects the timeless aesthetics of bass sound while offering supreme artwork and superior playability to meet the needs of cutting-edge technical players of today.

- "Black Limba Top / Alder Body" with artistic wood grain
Featuring a top made of black limba (korina) wood with a beautiful and distinctive grain, and an alder back body known for its excellent tonal balance, this guitar delivers a warm low end that powerfully supports traditional bass lines, as well as a clear presence that stands out in solo performances and technical playing.

- The "S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple Neck" boasts an exceptional feel and high-precision playability.
Featuring S-TECH WOOD (roasted maple) treated with nitrogen heat, this guitar offers superior shape stability, water resistance, and weather resistance. The custom-designed matte-finish C-shaped neck (MDM5) feels comfortable in the hand, and the "Super All-Access Neck Joint" allows for effortless access to the high register, resulting in exceptional fingering.

- Cocobolo fretboard / stainless steel frets that produce rich, deep harmonics.
The fretboard is made of high-grade cocobolo wood, known for its rich, smooth texture and deep, complex overtones. The medium stainless steel frets, boasting durability and smooth sliding and playability, feature the Custom Shop Fret Edge Treatment, a signature of the Custom Shop.
(The fretboard inlays feature woody maple dots, and the side position markers use luminous Luminlay for high visibility even on dark stages.)

• Aggressive yet noiseless newly developed "Delta pickup"
Equipped with the newly developed "Delta S5J" pickup, which combines neodymium magnets with black-plated stainless steel pole pieces, this guitar features an ultra-noiseless design with hum-canceling construction, producing a powerful, modern sound that cuts through the ensemble.

- The "Sonitech Preamp / Hexa Mid System" enables incredible sound shaping.
Equipped with the newly developed 3-band EQ "Ibanez Sonitech Preamp." It features a master tone control that functions regardless of whether the EQ is on or bypassed (pulling up the knob bypasses the EQ), and the "Hexa Mid System" allows you to select a total of six peak frequency bands using the combination of the DIP switches (High/Low) on the back of the body and the 3-way switch on the top. This allows for versatile midrange control that can be adjusted to any ensemble or playing style.

- From the meticulously selected hardware and parts, including the lightweight "Gotoh RES-O-LITE" machine heads that prevent head dive and optimize balance, to the "MR5S" bridge with brass saddles, the bone nut, and the cavity plate finished in black limba wood, every detail reflects an uncompromising aesthetic.
