Description

[Ikebe Musical Instruments 50th Anniversary Model] [Includes Clear Pickguard]

This special edition features a "sandblast finish" with wood selected and ordered by Ikebe staff at their German factory! This custom model comes equipped with a clear pickguard, which normally needs to be made separately! The original black pearl pickguard is also included, so you can easily change the look to match your mood or the band's atmosphere! Plus, it's available at a special set price, making it cheaper than buying the parts separately!

This special edition model was created as a 50th-anniversary project, based on the long-standing relationship of trust between Sadowsky, Warwick (manufacturing/distribution factory), and Ikebe. It is the world's first Metroline (regular series) model to be made to order by a shop since production shifted to Germany.

Featuring a lightweight chambered body with internal hollows, hum-canceling JJ pickups, an active circuit with treble/bass boost EQ and bypass, passive tone control, ultra-lightweight tuners (pegs), and a bridge that produces excellent responsiveness, this guitar boasts a wide-range, flat, and resonant sound that responsively reproduces the touch of the pliers, along with high playability, making it a world-class professional-spec sound directly applicable to stage and recording environments.

This is a special edition of the Metroline, a regular German-made series that has already received high praise, featuring a "sandblasted" finish that is not normally included in the specifications. By blasting fine particles onto the wood, the surface is shaved and the wood grain is processed to create a three-dimensional effect, and then finished in a two-tone color that further emphasizes the wood grain. This is a custom specification that was used on only a very limited number of Warwick models, and it is a rare specification that was only produced in a few units even for the Warwick Ikebe custom order model that is attracting attention worldwide. While it has a unique look that is not found on the regular model, the conventional quality remains the same (in fact, perhaps because it is a limited production, you can feel the dedication put into the craftsmanship), and you can enjoy the Sadowsky sound that is unique to the instrument.
Of course, weight, grain, and texture were all carefully considered, and each piece was meticulously selected by Ikebe staff from a vast stock of wood at our factory in Germany.

This model was made possible by our long-standing strong relationship of trust with Sadowsky/Warwick and the special occasion of Ikebe's 50th anniversary. Please experience it for yourself.
