A versatile 8-string RG model featuring DiMarzio pickups and coil tapping.


◆Maple/Wenge Neck: This neck combines maple and wenge wood in a 5-piece construction, offering a more natural sound and higher strength than the Wizard-8 neck shape.
This neck shape is a modified version for 8-string guitars, based on the ultra-thin Super Wizard shape, which is ideal for players who prefer a lighter grip.

◆Ash wood: Characterized by a clear, well-defined sound with excellent projection.
The open-pore finish and the filling of the wood grain with white paint highlight the unique grain pattern of ash wood, bringing out the natural texture of the wood.
Additionally, white binding is applied to the outer edge of the body, highlighting the contours and giving it a more refined look.

◆Rosewood fingerboard: Features a well-balanced sound character and a warm tone.

◆Features include excellent stainless steel frets, a fast attack, clear note separation when playing chords, and a clear sound when playing individual notes.

◆DiMarzio Fusion Edge 8 pickup with coil-tap switch: This pickup features rich high-frequency characteristics that could easily be mistaken for a single-coil, along with moderate output power, resulting in a modern and progressive tone suitable for metal.

◆Gibraltar Standard III-8 Bridge: This is an original Ibanez fixed bridge with a low-profile design that allows for stress-free picking, and offers a wide range of intonation and saddle height adjustments to accommodate various settings.

◆Luminlay Fretboard Side Position Markers: These high-performance phosphorescent material is popular worldwide as it is useful on darkened stages.

◆Gotoh MG-T Locking Machine Heads: Designed for ease of string changes, these machines utilize Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads, renowned for their tuning stability.
The design allows you to easily lock the strings through the post holes by turning a dial with your finger.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

■ Stock

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

  • North America & Oceania: 20–30 days (estimated)

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties
