Ibanez presents a new series for modern metal players: ALPHA


◆Parallel Wizard AS-7/-8 5pc Maple/Walnut neck
This neck is constructed from five pieces of maple and walnut wood, prioritizing strength while aiming for a natural sound.
The neck shape features an asymmetrical design that curves gently towards the bass strings, while maintaining a consistent thickness of 21mm throughout its entire length.
We have pursued a natural grip that makes technical playing techniques such as sweep picking and skipping easier.

◆Ebony fretboard
It features a quick attack and rich sustain.

◆Luminescent side dot inlay
It features phosphorescent dot position markers to adapt to the rapidly changing performance environment, such as lighting conditions.

◆Jumbo Stainless Steel frets
It features excellent maintainability, a quick attack, good note separation even when playing chords, and a clear sound even when playing single notes.
It features a jumbo size, which allows for light touch fingering and is excellent for playing fast passages and smooth bending.

◆American Basswood body
Featuring a neutral, natural, and flat sound, it utilizes American basswood.
To reduce weight without affecting sound or weight balance, a 40mm body thickness was adopted.

◆Ergonomic Elbow Contour
To improve stability and playability, the area where the elbow rests has been scooped to create a slight indentation.

◆Flat body edge (lower side)
The lower part of the body has been cut wide and flat to provide a stable playing feel when sitting and holding the guitar between both legs.

◆Ergonomic rear body contour
The upper back of the body features a cut that follows the contour along its entire length.
This cut allows the guitar to naturally tilt upwards when held, making it closer to the body, which improves visibility of the fretboard and enhances playability.

◆Neck Joint
It employs a unique three-point bolt joint system, consisting of two screws using stainless steel oval plates and one screw driven directly into the body. This ensures strength while dramatically improving access to the upper frets and playability.

◆Rear output jack
A rear output jack is used to ensure that the shield cable does not interfere with performance, whether playing standing or seated.


◆Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker Alnico / Fluence Modern Humbucker Ceramic pickups
It features Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups, which deliver an aggressive tone and powerful attack while minimizing noise to the greatest extent possible.
The Fishman Fluence Voicing switch allows you to switch between the following types of voicing:

○Fishman Fluence 3-Voice Alnico
Voice 1: A high-output sound with excellent dynamics and picking nuances, characterized by its roundness and thickness.
Voice 2: A clean, focused, and crisp tone, ideal for the neck position.
Voice 3: A single-coil sound that is as clear and transparent as glass.

○Fishman Fluence 3-Voice Ceramic
Voice 1: A high-output sound characterized by sharp attacks and tight bass.
Voice 2: An organic, punchy, passive-like tone.
Voice 3: A bright, clear, and articulate single-coil sound.


◆Mono-rail G2 bridge
This is a newly developed bridge with an independent structure for each string.
The independent structure of each string minimizes interference from other strings, directly transmitting string vibrations to the body.
It features recessed machining and a low-profile design.
This is an innovative bridge that supports both string-through-body and string-through-body configurations.
It features a brass saddle that provides clear sound and excellent sustain.

◆Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads
Designed for ease of string changes, it features Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads, renowned for their tuning stability.
The dial allows you to easily lock the strings through the post holes.
