Ibanez ARTIST Series AR 2026 New Model

The new AR model features an impressive Tree of Life inlay, giving it a classic feel.


◆Flame Maple Body Top / Okoume Wood Body The body top is made of flame maple wood, which has a beautiful grain.
The body is made of Okoume wood, which has a rich, warm low-mid sound similar to mahogany.
By applying multi-binding around the perimeter of the body top and a low-gloss finish to the entire body, the texture of the wood is preserved while creating a luxurious and classic atmosphere.

◆Ebony Wood: Ebony wood is used for the fingerboard, which is excellent for the attack of the sound and is characterized by a bright tone.

◆Super 80 Metal-Covered Humbucking Pickups
This pickup was adopted in the 1970s as an Ibanez original pickup for artist models and other guitars of the time, and has since gained a strong reputation among many professional artists.
These ceramic magnet pickups feature a Flying Finger design engraved on a metal cover and are characterized by their bright and clear tone.
It also features two mini-switches called Tri-Sound Switches, which allow you to switch between "series ⇔ coil tap ⇔ parallel" wiring for the neck and bridge pickups.

◆Gibraltar Performer: This is a zinc bridge with the front and rear adjustment screws for the bridge saddles located on the tailpiece side.
By adopting a design that allows you to insert the screwdriver from the tailpiece side, it is now easier to adjust the saddle's fore-aft position.

◆Quik Change Classic Tailpiece
It features a tailpiece with a distinctive ornamental shape that could be considered an icon of AR.
The slit at the top allows for quick and easy string changes.

◆Sure Grip III Knob: The knob features numbering (markings) and a rubber grip on top to prevent slipping, achieving both ease of control and high visibility.
