Description

The long-awaited T's Guitars Ikebe 50th anniversary custom model has arrived!

T's Guitars boasts exceptionally precise quality among domestic workshops and is highly regarded for the sensuality of its instruments.
The long-awaited custom-made model commemorating the 50th anniversary of Ikebe Musical Instruments, which was created based on the many ideas of Ikebe Musical Instruments, which have been in the business for many years, has finally arrived!

Ikebe staff carefully selected quilted maple for the body top, a material that has become increasingly rare and expensive in recent years. The 3D quilted grain, characteristic of 5A grade, exudes a luxurious aura with its large, even grain and textured surface. The full-size ST body, designed for a rich, natural resonance, features a sound concept for each color. The Trans Blue Burst, with its irresistible vividness and depth, features swamp ash for a rock-like sharpness and response, while the Tiger Burst, with its deep brilliance and mature character, features alder for a jazzy, sticky, and dense body back. These guitars combine individuality and character, not just in color.

The striking natural binding, reminiscent of purfling, is extremely rare for an ST-type rounded edge guitar. It was suggested by staff member N during a personal order request from a customer at Premium Guitars. Because the paint is applied within the curve of the body edge, it's easy to see bleeds and discrepancies with the outer periphery. However, the smooth curves are beautifully parallel to the outer periphery, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and meticulous painting techniques. This exceptionally difficult finish is difficult to replicate, and we are truly impressed by the skill of T's Guitars, who realized this challenging idea. The pickguard, made of natural flame maple reinforced with graphite, is purposefully coordinated with the body in a "sunburst" finish. This creates a striking three-dimensional effect that complements the body color, creating an unforgettable impression for both players and audiences.

The neck specifications were carefully designed to match the body. While both models feature ebony fingerboards, the ash-backed Blue Burst model features a plain maple neck with Jescar stainless steel frets for a firm, firm neck, while the alder-backed Tiger Eye Burst model features a roasted maple neck with Jescar EVO Gold frets for a crisp attack, crisp response, and resolution. The standard T's Guitars soft V-neck offers an excellent balance of comfort and strength, but the slightly thicker grip adds a slightly tougher feel to the sound, resulting in a satisfying tone without the shallowness often associated with modern-spec models. The slightly flat 300-radius fingerboard curvature also enhances playability, and while preferences may vary, we have yet to hear any complaints that T's Guitars necks are "difficult to play."
The Buzz Feiten Tuning System, a testament to T's Guitars' technical expertise, is also used, and the unwavering tuning of each string produces an astonishing sense of unity in the natural sound! While it's an "extra" element that allows you to experience its effects through nut position correction and octave adjustment without using a dedicated tuner, the system's effectiveness is evident from the fact that it is popular among professional musicians who are particular about tuning.

We also made no compromises with the electrical system. Aiming to fit a sound that transcends genres, we adopted an HSH layout featuring T's Guitars' original pickups, the DH-450n, DS-592, and DH-560b. The bridge position, with its slight compression, delivers powerful gain for heavy riffs, while the coil taps deliver chunky, dry single-coil tones. The high-resolution, responsive single-coil in the middle position, combined with the coil taps in the neck and bridge positions, produces a surprisingly transparent, high-response clean tone. The neck position offers moderate output, but also a warm, full-bodied low-mid range that's ideal for lead playing, from clean to high-gain. This guitar will truly inspire any guitarist, no matter the source.

The guitar seeks to express individuality not only in the hardware but also in the metal parts. The bridge is the Gotoh 510TS-FE1, a global standard adopted by many custom guitar brands. The SGS510Z MG-T locking tuning machines boast high precision, smooth operation, and exceptional tuning stability. The durable X finish, originally used to protect gear teeth, is used for long-lasting beauty. The Trans Blue Burst finish comes in XC (X Chrome) and the Tiger Eye Burst finish in XG (X Gold), creating a soft, unique shine that enhances the model's unique character. Furthermore, since T's Guitars once graced the cover of the Gotoh catalog, the neck joint plate, volume knob, and jack plate are exclusively finished with the X finish, a finish that Gotoh does not normally use. This collaboration between T's Guitars and Ikebe is truly unique. This model also includes a special X-finish pickup cover in each color, which can be installed according to the owner's preference. Another thoughtful feature of this machine is its attention to detail, which satisfies your desire to own it.

This is a true masterpiece that fully incorporates the know-how unique to Ikebe's 50th anniversary and the artisan spirit of T's Guitars!
The only regret is that in order to realize the desired specifications, only five pens were produced: three Trans Blue Burst and two Tiger Eye Burst.
Get your hands on this inimitable, crystallized "level of perfection" that we are so proud of!
