Description
~Ultra-lightweight reinforced carbon fiber trumpet mute~
The maker, F. Alex, graduated from a music university in Germany and is currently a trumpeter at the Hagen Opera House.
He was not satisfied with commercially available mutes for his own playing, so after extensive research based on his own playing experience, he completed a mute using high-quality polylactic acid (PLA) reinforced with carbon fiber.
It is harder and more durable than plastic and produces a brighter tone.
This is a high-performance mute that has good intonation in all ranges and sounds like a wooden mute.
The playing feel remains the same when the mute is attached, and its ultra-lightweight design reduces the weight burden when playing.
The straight cup comes with replacement rubber pads of different thicknesses, allowing you to adjust the depth when wearing it.
It is also compatible with rotary trumpets.
● Player comments
-Andrei Kavalinsky (Principal flutist of the Orchestre National de France)
With its excellent intonation and ease of production, this is an excellent mute that allows trumpeters to express their rich tone.
-Andre Schoch (German Brass Soloist / Former Principal of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra)
This is an excellent mute that covers all ranges of trumpets and produces a wide variety of tones.
It achieves perfect pitch and a comfortable playing feel.
●Flexible Cup Mute The cup part is movable.
The mute effect can be changed, so you can use it in your preferred position.
