The TRBX series was developed based on the concept of "supporting the bottom of a band with excellent playability, rich tone, and a sound full of presence." It combines the experience and technology cultivated by the long-established Japanese brand Yamaha with advanced design, meticulous engineering, and innovative ideas. The slim neck shape and three-dimensionally cut body deliver excellent playability. The pickups and circuitry produce a wide variety of sounds, from powerful bass to delicate tones. Each model offers the player's unique playability and sonic versatility to quickly transform their imagination into sound.
The TRBX300 series is Yamaha's entry-level active bass model. While inheriting the form inherited from the long-selling TRB series, it features a slim neck grip and a boldly contoured body shape, making it easy to handle and comfortable to play.
The combination of an original-design humbucker pickup and active circuitry allows for versatile production of sounds ranging from powerful bass to crisp, clear tones. The pickup cover features a recessed side that doubles as a finger rest. It also features a built-in selector-type active EQ control called "Performance EQ." Five positions are located on the body end: Solo, Finger, Flat, Pick, and Slap. By switching the selector, you can quickly and easily find the EQ setting that's best suited to your playing style or style. This is extremely easy to understand for those new to electric bass playing or those new to the instrument, and a great feature for those unsure of their sound design. Enjoy a wide variety of sounds with ease.
