This is a custom-made model from our store, based on the classic M#265 model, finished in a vibrant transparent pink color!
ATELIER Z has garnered overwhelming support from many bassists, both professional and amateur, especially those who specialize in slap playing. The flagship model, the M#245, was created as a signature model for leading Japanese bassist Tomohito Aoki, and its high level of perfection has made it a popular all-around active JB model, and it continues to reign as the model of choice for many users. The M#265, which inherits the performance of the M#245, is a flagship 5-string model that boasts overwhelming popularity.
The carefully selected two-piece ash body and dense maple neck combine to produce a powerful, crisp tone. Experience the classic "V-Chip" sound, with a unique character like no other. Controls include a volume control, pickup balancer, master tone, and two-band treble/bass EQ boost. The rear panel reveals a mid-cut trim, allowing for a wide range of adjustments to your taste. The treble and bass preamps feature detents at 50% boost, making it easy to adjust to your taste. This unit also features Spectrum Boost wiring, which increases the sound pressure level for even greater sonic versatility.
With excellent response, even when played without much effort, the sound comes out smoothly, and while it excels in clarity, it also has a wild side. It's versatile and can be used in a variety of playing styles, from a bold tone with fingers to a punchy, forward-pushing sound with slap, to a strong attack with a pick.
