The RG550 Genesis Collection, a Japanese-made model, is a truly iconic Ibanez model!


・The GENESIS COLLECTION: A Made in Japan guitar series tracing the history from Genesis to the present day.

- An ultra-thin Super Wizard-shaped neck designed for ease of playing and minimalist design.
The 5-piece construction, consisting of three pieces of maple and two pieces of walnut laminated together, enhances rigidity.
This shape is perfect for players who prefer an extremely light grip, and it's a testament to Ibanez's pioneering role in thin neck designs.

• Maple fingerboard: Features a maple fingerboard, which is known for its bright and clear sound.

- Tilt neck joint using die-cast plate

• Ibanez Original V7, V8 Humbucker Pickups & S1 Single-Coil Pickups: These guitars utilize the V7/V8 humbucker pickups, which were widely used in the late 1990s when loud music was at its peak.
It features a front pickup (V7) that prioritizes powerful midrange and clear highs, and a rear pickup (V8) that prioritizes powerful lows.
The single-coil pickup is the S1, which was designed specifically for use with the V7/V8.

The Ibanez Edge tremolo is characterized by its smooth operation and brilliant sound. It boasts a natural feel, wide range of motion, and high tuning accuracy, making it a double-locking type tremolo favored by many artists.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

■ Stock

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

  • Asia: 10–20 days (estimated)
  • North America & Oceania: 20–30 days (estimated)

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties

Import duties, taxes, and fees are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These fees are typically collected by the carrier upon delivery or at pickup. Please check with your country’s customs office for details before purchasing.
