Description
The ultimate guitar performance achieved by guitarist Steve Vai.
New model: BLP (Blue Powder) color

Steve himself positioned this signature model as "the evolution of the JEM" and named it PIA: Paradise in Art. While the body is made of alder wood, just like the JEM, the body design incorporates new details such as the body edges, contours, and horn section.

- A symbolic petal grip designed to resemble intertwined flower petals.
The grip design, featuring two petals nestled together, is perhaps the most striking feature of the PIA.
Steve sees this as a visual representation of how two things come together while creating a synergistic effect, and at the same time, he considers it an important symbol representing unity, friendship, and solidarity between people.

-A 5-piece PIA neck made of maple and walnut, shaped to Steve's preferred grip, just like on the JEM.

- The PIA Blossom Inlay, along with the grip, is an iconic artwork that symbolizes the Steve Vai model.
Not to mention the Tree of Life inlay, a trademark of JEM, this new inlay incorporates the elegant and beautiful botanical design imagery often seen in Steve's own artwork, and was designed specifically for PIA.
The fretboard is made of rosewood. Luminlay luminescent markers are used for the side position markers.

- Scalloped fretboard (21-24 frets)
It features a scalloped fretboard, which is shaped to scoop out the higher frets.

- Jumbo-sized stainless steel frets (with Prestige fret edge treatment)

-USA-made DiMarzio UtoPIA pickups designed specifically for PIA. Based on the tonal direction Steve has preferred in recent years, these pickups were specially crafted to achieve a smoother high end, scooped mids, and a clearer low end.
All pickup covers feature beautiful decorations that perfectly complement the guitar's design concept.

- Equipped with a high-pass filter. Operated by a push-pull volume knob. Activates when the volume knob is pulled.

-The magnetic tremolo cavity plate, shaped like a pedal, is screwless and can be attached and detached without mounting screws.
It's easy to attach and detach, and you won't lose any mounting screws. Tremolo adjustments are a breeze.
*The magnetic tremolo cavity plate of the product has a white protective sticker applied to it beforehand to prevent scratches during transport and display.

- The included ultralight Ultralite Tremolo Arm features a lightweight yet durable carbon graphite grip, allowing for precise arm control thanks to its light weight and comfortable, thick grip.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.
