A special edition model representing the pinnacle of guitar design, crafted by guitarist Steve Vai: BLP (Blue Powder) color.


【PIA -Paradise in Art-】
Steve himself positioned this signature model as "the evolution of the JEM" and named it PIA: Paradise in Art. The body is made of alder wood, just like the JEM. The body design incorporates new details such as the body edge, contour, and horn section, and it features a symbolic petal grip designed to resemble intertwined flower petals.


◆PIA Blossom inlay
Not to mention the Tree of Life inlay, a trademark of JEM, this new inlay incorporates the elegant and beautiful botanical design imagery often seen in Steve's own artwork, and was designed specifically for PIA.

◆Scalloped Fingerboard on 21-24 Frets
It features a scalloped fretboard, which is shaped to scoop out the higher frets.

◆Petal Grip
The grip design, featuring two petals nestled together, is perhaps the most striking feature of the PIA. Steve sees this as a visual representation of two things joining together and creating a synergistic effect, and at the same time, he considers it an important symbol representing unity, friendship, and solidarity between people.

◆DiMarzio UtoPIA pickups
This is a custom pickup designed based on the tonal direction Steve has favored in recent years, aiming for a smoother high end, a scooped midrange, and a clearer low end.
All pickup covers feature beautiful decorations that perfectly complement the guitar's design concept.

◆Edge Tremolo & Lion's Claw
The Edge, Ibanez's original tremolo, has been Steve's favorite for over 30 years.
In addition to its easy access to the saddle position adjustment bolts, the Lion's Claw cavity design, a distinctive design feature, is also adopted, just like on the JEM model.

◆Magnetic Tremolo Cavity Plate
The cavity plate on the back of the tremolo, which is shaped like a pedal, is screwless.
It's easy to attach and detach, and you won't lose any mounting screws. Tremolo adjustments are a breeze.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

■ Stock

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

  • North America & Oceania: 20–30 days (estimated)

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties
