The HDA thumb hook is an abbreviation for High Damping Alloy, and is a saxophone part made from "Alphe," a material well known for cello endpins.
Wind instruments can increase the volume by transmitting and amplifying sound vibrations through the tube, but because the vibrations interfere with each other, the sound cannot be focused, resulting in a blurred, hard-to-hear sound even though it is loud.
By installing this product, the characteristics of ALFE absorb noise such as minute resonances that are transmitted through the tube,
It is possible to express the pure, original sound of the instrument as sound.
■Special alloy ALFE (Fe-8Al Alloy)
Alfe is an Fe-Al alloy with an Al content of 8%, developed by Alfeco Co., Ltd., that is lightweight and has excellent magnetic and vibration-damping properties. It also has heat resistance, making it a promising new material for the future (patented).

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
