★14 years after the P/C series, the ultimate power plug has been born, carrying the trust and track record of people all over the world.

In 2003, Oyaide Electric released the P/C series, Japan's first domestically produced power plug and IEC connector specifically for audio. Since then, it has led the power plug/IEC connector market. The P/C series has been praised worldwide for its high usability, design, specifications, safety, and sound quality.

Having won numerous awards both in Japan and overseas, and supplying OEM products to many power cable manufacturers both domestically and internationally, the company has supported the demand for high-end audio cables and established a solid presence. Now, carrying the trust and track record from around the world, the "ARMORED series," a further upgraded product line, is finally being released.

●Features of the ARMORED series: - Armored plugs and connectors - "IP shielding" created by ion plating shuts out external noise.
- Design infused with refined technology - ARMORED cover with a form reminiscent of an F1 car piston.
• Excellent assembly capabilities that allow for smooth insertion of thick conductors equivalent to 5.5 sq mm, and a large cable outlet that can accommodate extra-thick cables up to 16.5 mm.

◎The barrel buffing and plating processes, performed by skilled craftsmen, are a unique quality only achievable with Oyaide products. Each electrode, individually punched out with advanced engineering, is crafted from materials with micron-level precision and surface treatment to ensure smooth insertion and removal and high conductivity, further defining the performance of each model. (*029 excludes buffing and plating.)


By clamping the cable from above and below, the cable position is always centered.


The "ARMORED Mechanical Earth System" is achieved by tightening a high-rigidity stainless steel screw, which penetrates the main body and housing A/B, from two directions: the main body side and housing B side. The main body and housing are firmly integrated, and any looseness between parts is completely eliminated.

From the housing and body to the finish of the electrodes and even a single screw, each part, with its pursuit of materials and performance, is a masterpiece created by the world-renowned skills of Japanese craftsmen. The ultimate power plug and IEC connector, the "ARMORED series," was born from the fusion of the technology, experience, and achievements cultivated with the P/C series. Of course, it is designed with dimensions compliant with JIS standards and is a safety design that conforms to PSE standards.

◎Commitment to Materials Oyaide products are always committed to the materials used. The contact components of the ARMORED series use beryllium copper (AP/AC-004), phosphor bronze (AP/AC-037), and brass (AP/AC-029), inherited from the P/C series. Each of these materials follows the P/C series but has been selected specifically for the ARMORED series. Conductivity, springiness, hardness, heat treatment, and buffing and plating processes tailored to each material form the identity of each model. In addition, the resin materials used include glass-filled PBT (body) with excellent mechanical strength and vibration damping, and polycarbonate (housing), which is also an engineering plastic, contributing to improved performance of the housing.

◎A commitment to uniqueness: The "ARMORED Series" power plugs and IEC connectors incorporate groundbreaking ideas unlike any other, such as "IP Shielding," "Dual Housing Structure," "Flex Cable Clamp System," "ARMORED Mechanical Earth," and "Beryllium Copper."
