★Standalone MPC with built-in monitor speaker
●Make music anywhere. For producers who never want to miss inspiration, the standalone/battery-powered MPC LIVE II was born. Enjoy the MPC experience the way you want it.
●An immersive music production experience
MPC Live II is the first MPC to feature a built-in monitoring system. Designed from the ground up, this dual tweeter/woofer speaker system lets you hear your ideas clearly as they flow during the music creation process. From the low end of 808s to the punchy drums of your MPC, the deep bass of your basslines, and the silky high end, you'll hear every detail of the music you're creating. You can also turn off the built-in monitors and connect your studio speakers.
●Complete MPC
Equipped with the same multi-core processor as the MPC X, MPC Live II delivers everything you need in a modern MPC. Create music with Akai Professional's iconic 16 pads. Sequence, edit, and chop samples with the crystal-clear 7-inch touchscreen color display. Shape your ideas with four capacitive-touch knobs. Carefully placed buttons for a smooth workflow. An easy-to-use UI lets you unleash your creativity.
●Portability and functionality
MPC Live II is designed to meet the diverse needs of producers. Equipped with three stereo 1/4-inch TRS outputs (six mono), phono/line-level inputs, USB, MIDI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and four TRS CV/Gate outputs, it's easy to connect and control a wide variety of gear. Control sound modules on stage, connect outboard gear in the studio, use a USB MIDI controller and the built-in synth engine for immersive performances, or connect turntables for old-school music production. It's also ideal for producers who move between studio and stage every day.
●The core of the studio
MPC Live II can send commands to all external MIDI devices. Akai Professional's next-generation standalone, multi-core MPC series now features the new MIDI Multi feature, transforming the MPC into a powerful MIDI sequencer and the heart of your studio. Significantly increased I/O capabilities allow you to simultaneously connect and route a variety of MIDI devices, including class-compliant USB keyboards, MIDI interfaces, and USB-to-CV modules. Combined with internal MIDI routing between tracks, comprehensive MIDI routing to MIDI-enabled synthesizers, drum machines, and sound modules, and multitrack recording capabilities, this puts the MPC at the center of your production, unleashing the true power of your gear.
Create anytime, anywhere. Don't wait for inspiration to strike. Take everything you need with you. The road-tested, rugged, compact design and lithium-ion battery with up to 5 hours of runtime let you create music anywhere.
●MPC Software 2
The updated MPC 2 software features both standalone and controller modes, expanding the scope of music production when used in conjunction with the MPC 2 software. Features include real-time time stretching, clip launch functionality, VST compatibility in controller mode, standalone use on Mac/PC, and seamless integration with DAWs. With standalone mode freeing you from the limitations of computer-based production and controller mode enabling DAW-centric creative exploration, MPC Live II and the MPC 2 software offer flexible music production capabilities.
Integration with Ableton Live
MPC Live II is pre-mapped to Ableton Live for easy setup. Connect via Wi-Fi or Ethernet with the USB-to-Ethernet adapter to Ableton Link for Live Clip launching, mixer, instrument macro control, and more. Combining the music-making power and acclaimed synth engine of MPC with Ableton Live's fast, intuitive workflow makes music creation a breeze.

The MPC Live II includes a 16GB microSD card slot for internal storage, a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay for connecting an SSD or HDD drive, and a USB port.
