【New Footboard】
The flat surface of the footboard allows for smooth footwork, even when using slide techniques. Furthermore, the "Oiles" bearings used in the hinge, which acts as the pivot point for the footboard, provide smooth action and exceptional stability with minimal footboard wobble. The new model features a thicker shaft diameter for improved durability.

【New Pedal Housing】
The bearings at both ends of the shaft are secured using a new mechanism also used in the Speed ​​Cobra. By mounting the bearings in a way that allows them to function most effectively, smooth pedal action is achieved.

【Power Glide Cam】
This original design features a straight cut only at the top edge of the perfectly round wheel, increasing beater speed just before impact with the drumhead. The double chain design provides both smooth action and power.

◆Cobra Coil
The Cobra Coil enables two physically contradictory actions: a light press and a quick return. By touching the underside of the footboard just before impact, the coil assists the footboard's return. The point at which impact begins can be finely adjusted by changing the mounting position forward or backward.
◆Speedo-Ring
High-precision ball bearings are used in the roller section of the rocker cam that transmits spring tension to the shaft. By thoroughly reducing losses in the moving parts, quick response is achieved.
◆Para-Clamp II
This hoop clamp fits the angle of the bass drum, even when the front of the drum is raised. It can be securely fixed with a T-bolt next to the footboard, and the height can be adjusted to match the thickness of the wood hoop.

Beater/footboard angle adjustment function when used with Speedo-Ring. The distance the beater makes contact with the bass drum head can be finely adjusted steplessly without affecting the angle of the footboard.
