We have a used RG8540ZD, the top-of-the-line Japanese model from the J Custom Series, in stock!

The j.custom is Ibanez's flagship model, crafted with carefully selected materials and meticulously assembled by skilled Japanese craftsmen. The j.custom RG series, which is the pinnacle of Ibanez's reputation not only in Japan but around the world, now includes the RG8540ZD, which features a new SSH pickup arrangement at the time.
Assembled by some of Japan's most skilled craftsmen, j.custom consistently boasts high playability, and the concept behind its launch in 1996 remains unchanged to this day.
Furthermore, we believe that it is by maintaining this concept that we have been able to improve the hardware and enhance the finish of each part.
The RG8540ZD features a unique j.custom design that sets it apart from other models, including an ultra-thin neck with titanium neck reinforcement for strength and sustain, a neck back coating and joint heel processing to improve playing feel, meticulous fingerboard and fret edge processing by skilled craftsmen, the finest wood materials, and elaborate inlay work, and it also features an SSH pickup layout not found in previous RG j.custom models.

Although it shows some signs of use, if you are looking for a first-string player who can be an immediate asset, please consider this item!

*As for the condition, there are no dents or other damage to the frets, and about 60% of them remain, and there is also sufficient clearance for the truss rod.
The electrical system is in good condition, but there are a relatively large number of scratches and dents overall, and corrosion and discoloration can be seen on the metal parts.
The brand name letters on the pickup cover are faded, and there is a crack in the guard near the mounting screw for the front pickup.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
