The Pico Deep Freeze Sound Retainer sits somewhere between the original Freeze pedal and the Superego pedal.
Deep Freeze, with its ability to freeze a sound in an instant, functions as a sustain pedal to hold chords or single notes as backing for your playing, or as a platform to manipulate new sounds that are impossible with a regular guitar.

Building upon the capabilities of the original Freeze, the Deep Freeze is a powerful pedal featuring layering functionality, adjustable attack/decay speed, glissando, and a dedicated volume control with three modes: Latch/Moment/Auto.

Deep Freeze can instantly freeze your sound in three modes. Latch mode freezes the sound each time you press the footswitch until the effect is bypassed, while Moment mode freezes the sound only while the footswitch is pressed. Auto mode automatically captures the sound whenever it detects a signal above the threshold, effectively freezing it without any footswitch operation. These three modes allow Deep Freeze to effortlessly adapt to any playing style.

The Deep Freeze controls allow you to further fine-tune the effect's details. Separate volume controls for DRY and EFFECT allow you to blend signals from subtle backing to 100% wet. GLISS adjusts the speed of change between frozen sounds, creating otherworldly sounds. The SPEED/LAYER knob adjusts the effect's attack/decay time in Moment and Auto modes, and the volume of the sound before layering in Latch mode.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

■ Stock

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

  • North America & Oceania: 20–30 days (estimated)

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties

Import duties, taxes, and fees are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These fees are typically collected by the carrier upon delivery or at pickup. Please check with your country’s customs office for details before purchasing.

Based on the regulations of the shipping company, aviation laws, and the laws and import regulations of the destination country, we cannot ship dangerous goods or restricted items internationally.
