Recommended rare used item!
A very rare, pre-owned guitar has arrived! Rock House Ikebe commissioned Mas Hino to make only a very limited number of these guitars. This is a rare pre-owned custom ST guitar commissioned by Rock House from Mas Hino, using a body from Fender USA's American Vintage Series, which was sold pre-painted at the time. It was made in 2002.
This is a superb custom-ordered guitar featuring a Candy Apple Red body in the style of master guitarist DG, a maple neck, and EMG pickups!

Mas Hino is a world-renowned guitar builder, famous for his own guitar brand, Mas Hino, as well as being a master builder for M Legend and Atelier Z! Mas Hino is also known for his work at Pensa CUSTOM Guitar in Rudy's, located on Music Row at 48th Street in the heart of Manhattan, New York. Rudy's is a long-established, high-end guitar shop in the heart of the global music scene, frequented by many top musicians such as Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, and Robben Ford. It is well known that Mas adjusted and modified the guitars of many top musicians there! As you all know, Mas's subsequent work has utilized the experience he gained in New York.

This guitar was made in the early 2000s! During a time when Fender's American Vintage series bodies were sold already painted, Rock House commissioned several Custom STs from Mas Hino, who was back in Japan at the time, using one of these bodies!

We happened to have a Candy Apple Red body available, so the Ikebe staff ordered a custom-made guitar inspired by that famous red Stratocaster in the style of DG! The striking red body is fitted with EMG pickups! The neck, of course, has a maple fretboard, giving it the look and feel of the guitar used by that legendary master in that iconic concert! It makes you want to play the intro to that famous song!
The neck plate is hand-engraved with "Custom Built for Ikebe Gakki by Mas Hino" and the date 042202. This particular guitar was completed on April 22, 2002.

The materials include an alder body from a Fender USA guitar, a one-piece maple neck by Mas Hino, and three EMG SA pickups! A Callaham block bridge was selected based on Mas's idea! Originally, it had Callaham saddles and springs, but a few years later, the previous owner, wanting to pursue a more DG-like sound, consulted Mas Hino and was recommended to replace them with Raw Vintage saddles and springs, which were released around the mid-2000s. (The original Callaham saddles and springs are not included.) The nut is currently made of cow bone.

As mentioned earlier, Mas Hino honed his skills as a guitar craftsman at the prestigious New York guitar shop "Pensa Suhr" and built relationships with numerous world-renowned musicians. After returning to Japan in the early 2000s, he worked for several years as the master builder for the Atelier Z brand. He is currently based in New York again, but unfortunately, opportunities to see his current works in Japan are rare. In that sense, this is an extremely rare piece!

We've just received a highly recommended rare used item! It's a 2002 model.
There is some discoloration and paint peeling on the lower right surface of the body top due to aging, overall aging of the paint, a repaired and touched-up area on the upper right of the body top where a crack was brought in during assembly, minor scratches and pick scratches throughout, minor dents throughout, dents on the headstock, dents near the upper end pin, and some tarnishing of the parts, but none of these affect playability. Full maintenance and cleaning have been performed at our shop.

The frets have been leveled. They are quite low, but still playable. Approximately 20% of the frets remain. Jumbo frets are installed. Further wear will necessitate fret replacement. The nut is currently in good working order (it has been replaced).

The truss rod has approximately 30 degrees of adjustment remaining, but it can be adjusted to reverse curvature, so there are no problems with normal adjustments.

This item will be delivered with the neck area in its current condition. There is no warranty on this used item. Also, please note that Mas Hino is currently based in New York again, so we are unable to have him perform any repairs or setups.

(*Repairs and setups are handled at our workshop in Japan.)

The electrical system has also been fully checked, so there are no problems with its operation.

The weight is approximately 3.62 kg. It has a balanced design that produces a solid, focused sound.

The included accessories are an Atelier Z gig bag and tremolo arm.

A rare second-hand item that you don't often come across!
Don't miss this opportunity!
