Description

AAAAAA's finest KOA top!!
This is a limited edition model with only 35 pieces in total, including 4-string and 5-string models.

Since its founding in 1979, legendary Roger Sadowsky has built, repaired, and customized instruments for countless top artists across genres, earning him the utmost trust from musicians around the world. Through his work modifying instruments for New York studio musicians, including the famous Marcus 77JB, and manufacturing his own brand of instruments, he established the "Active JB" style, now adopted by many manufacturers, and introduced new possibilities for bass sound to the music scene since the 1980s.
Sadowsky instruments have a wide range of sounds to suit any musical genre, and are low-noise and highly functional. They have always been with musicians through the ages and continue to evolve.

This limited-edition model features a top made of carefully selected, top-quality AAAAA-grade koa, a material that has become increasingly rare in recent years. The body back is crafted from chambered roasted swamp ash, resulting in a lightweight yet well-balanced instrument that is unique to Sadowsky.
The fingerboard is a jet black ebony, the neck is made of roasted maple with a refined flame grain, and the headstock is made of matching AAAAA-grade koa, a luxurious finish not found on the NYC model. Other features not found on the MetroLine model include a soap bar pickup wrapped in a brushed black chrome cover and a high-polish finish that brings out the beautiful grain of the wood, making this a MasterBuilt exclusive.

German-made Sadowsky, the highest grade.
This is a limited edition of just 35 4-string and 5-string guitars.

*Although the model name is listed as 2025, it will not be available in Japan until 2026.
